a time for everything...

There is a time for everything, and a
season for every activity under heaven:

a time to be born, and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to
gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.

... jaded ...

from Jalda - originally "mare," then "old broken down mare," then "worthless person," now it means someone who has "been there, seen that, and done it all"
- wordreference

it might mean that you are so accustomed to something that it no longer excites or interests you
- yahoo answers

dulled or satiated by overindulgence; worn out or wearied, as by overwork or overuse; dissipated
French: épuisé
German: erschöpft
Spanish: agotado, cansado
- dictionary.com

worn out, wearied, or lacking enthusiasm; exhausted; cynically insensitive; made callous by experience
- wiktionary

you'll get jaded after a year of studying here in UP... seeing a flying dog won't surprise you.
- according to my Social Science professor back in college

jaded? past tense ba yan ni jade bwahahaha? (was she talking about the gemstone or the gay txtmate of our guy friend? ahaha whatever...)
- according to my crazy bestfriend :P

how can one become unjaded?
It's always fun to be child-like. It's nice to go back to those days when crying your heart out and laughing wildly aren't much of a big deal. It's great to be human... to feel.. to have emotions.

oh well... is this the effect of hearing Christmas songs as early as August? or seeing santa hats scattered at the mall because, as they say, it's already a 'ber' month?
