SM Mall of Asia

Last week I, along with some friends spent a rainy day trekking the country's hottest shopping destination. Why is everybody crazy about the SM Mall of Asia? Simply because the said mall is the largest in the Philippines and third largest in the world. Aside from the wide range of shops (although some aren't operating yet), it boasts of world-class facilities like an olympic size skating rink and the Imax theatre. Enough of this pseudo-ad here are some pics;)

open air mall, boutiques are air-conditioned (the skating rink really contributes to a cooler ventilation) / cinemas

center stage / overpass that connects the mall to the 'Sunset Boulevard', a park where you can hang out and witness the sunset. It gives you a perfect synergy of urban(mall) and rural(bay) atmosphere

How to get there... well of course you can ride your wheels (parking spaces are also available near the 'Sunset Boulevard' area); by public transportation get off at MRT Taft station, there are jeepneys and buses that will bring you directly to the mall. A piece of advice if you want to enjoy the vastness the of the mall, wear comfortable clothes and shoes (for your own sake wear flip-flops hehehe).
