Happy Mother's Day

Thank God for our Moms. Here are five reasons why we can't live without them...

5. They are magicians, think about how they stretch the household budget.
4. They are soooo patient. Imagine carrying you in the womb for nine months and molding you to become a good individual for years (even if you resist to be one hahaha)!
3. They may sound unreasonable at times (well, most of the time, kidding! hahaha) but at the end of the day we realize that they just want the best for us.
2. They love us unconditionally. Even if we try to turn them down a million times, we know that they will always be there for us.
1. They are precious blessings from God and we are here because of them :)

Here's a beautiful song that I've always dedicated to someone who has always been a good friend, sister, teacher, financier (hahaha), movitator... the list may go on but simply put, she's the wind beneath my wings... my Mom. Thanks Mommy.

Wind Beneath My Wings
Bette Midler

It must have been cold there in my shadow,
to never have sunlight on your face.
You were content to let me shine, that's your way,
you always walked a step behind.

So I was the one with all the glory,
while you were the one with all the strength.
A beautiful face without a name -- for so long,
a beautiful smile to hide the pain.

*Did you ever know that you're my hero,
and ev'rything I would like to be?
I can fly higher than an eagle,
'cause you are the wind beneath my wings.

It might have appeared to go unnoticed,
but I've got it all here in my heart.
I want you to know I know the truth, of course I know it,
I would be nothing with out you.

*

Fly, fly, fly away,
you let me fly so high.
Oh, fly, fly,
so high against the sky, so high I almost touch the sky.
Thank you, thank you, thank God for you,
the wind beneath my wings.

Mothers are the greatest. They can be your worst critic but they'd be there for you all the same, in success or failure. Our mothers each have unique traits that make them truly our own, and it makes them even more special. :)
